Join in our competitions

We will be running monthly competitions that are free to enter for our members. Prizes will include great new fishing products we think are worthy of promoting as well as sponsor products.

Most competitions will be based on user submitted material and judged, if possible by the Oz Fishing Tackle community.

Submit articles

Members who have shown a reasonable amount of community interaction will be granted the right to submit articles for the Oz Fishing Tackle site and as such will receive greater member discounts and offers.

Share your stories, photos, recipes and even videos

All users have the ability to share their fishing stories, tips, photos and other media including videos in the fishing forum.

There are chat forums for both salt water and fresh water fishers, member fishing reports, even a place to talk boating and camping...In fact there is room to talk about anything at all both fishing and non fishing related.

Comment on our articles

All members can post their comments,opinions and even add pictures and videos to any of our articles throughout the site.

By doing so you will be adding your information to help all levels of fishers to better understand the different fish species we have,the locations to find them and the best fishing tackle to use (oh and of course the best way to eat them).

Rate the products we have in our tackle store

One of the greatest responsibilities we are allowing our members and customers the ability to do, and one that we think is the most important for the sake of the fishing community, is the ability to rate the products we sell in our store.

This will ensure anyone shopping in our store will know that they can trust the quality of a product because it has been voted on by the fishing public for the fishing public.

This is the best rating we offer. The products are made here in Australia and the fishing company is owned by Australians

Australian made :

The products are made here in Australia helping to create work but owned by an overseas company.
While this is not as good as Australian made and owned it still generates jobs here in this country.

Primarily means that the product is imported ,sold or distributed by an Australian owned company or business but manufactured overseas.
