The main point we ask you to consider is that these forums are for public access and are designed for people of all kinds. They are designed for the public to gain insight to better ways of fishing and what is going on in the fishing world. Please keep this in mind when posting material to the forums and be mindful of just who might be reading and viewing what you have posted.

Although the administrators and moderators will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners, nor moderators will be held responsible for the content of any message.

The owners of Oz Fishing Tackle reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

Failure to adhere to the forum rules will result in a warning and if you are a repeat offender you will be banned altogether so please take the time to read and understand them.

These rules are subject to change at any time and without warning. While we do our best to inform users of any such change it is the responsibility of each user of the forum to check the rules for any changes that may have been made.

The rules apply to all of the following:

• thread titles
• usernames
• web links on personal pages
• public email addresses
• any other text field you can enter text into.

Abuse insults and personal Attacks

Abuse or insult of any kind in any fashion will not be tolerated .This includes race ,sex ,sexual orientation, physical appearance, mental capacity or anything that small minded people may interpret as "not normal".

Personal attacks will not be tolerated.
If you disagree with someone or a topic feel free to argue the topic but reframe from any personal comments about the person posting the material in question.

Foul Language and inappropriate material

Please reframe from using foul language and inappropriate material.

While 99% of the forum users are over 18 and can handle such terms and material there may be at any time users which are easily influenced by this sort of material or users that may find this material both inappropriate and offensive.

 No business advertising

Links to other websites for the use of gaining personal profit will not be tolerated at all and most of the time this will result in immediate bans.

If you would like to post a link to an external commercial site and are unsure ask first.

Links to other sites for the use of information and article, subject or user information are tolerated. 

 No forum spamming

Users spamming the forum will have their posts removed and will be warned. Failure to comply will result in a ban.

No religious or political debates

This forum is not the place to hold any political or religious debate.

While we do realise that there may be some fishing debates that may cross over to a political debate due to fishing legislation or rule changes, we will keep a close eye on the subject and reserve the right to close the topic if we feel it is not in the best interest of the site to be left open for further discussion.

Use of illegal external information.

Please check any external information and resource before using it on the forum for copyright and any other legal requirements of its use.

Oz Fishing Tackle take no responsibility for the the use of any such materials , opinions relating to or the use of personal information which should never be posted on this site.

It is the responsibility of the person posting the information to judge its appropriateness and legality of use.
