Oz Fishing Tackle Shipping Policy

All orders are processed and shipped as soon as we can.
When considering how long your order should take please consider your distance away from us (we are in Brisbane, Queensland) and the time of year (holiday periods like Christmas are particularly busy) which may put slight delays on both our processing time and the time the freight companies get the order to your door.  

What if i need it super urgently?

If you require your order urgently please contact us as soon as you possibly can to see if first of all it is achievable and secondly that the required items are in stock and there are no foreseeable delays.This is the best way to avoid disappointment. 

Please note that extra charges will apply for express shipping.

  

Postage insurance,tracking,missing and damaged goods

 

If you wish to track or insure your purchase for damage in transit please contact us for a quote first.

Shipping insurance and tracking is generally fairly cheap and for sensitive items is generally a good idea to have.
Any items shipped without insurance or tracking that are damaged or lost in transit are not the responsibility of Oz Fishing Tackle but we will try our best to help you out with any such claims, which when dealt with in a timely fashion are usually not a drama at all.
 
If your items are damaged or lost you are to contact both us and the freight company used to send your items as soon as you notice that damage has occurred or if a reasonable amount of time has passed since your order should have arrived. 
 
We trust both our freight companies as we want as little stress with your order as much as you do, however millions of parcels are shipped across Australia every day and from time to time problems may occur but we have found these two companies to be the most reliable.

 

We have two freight carriers that can ship across Australia


We do not organize third party freight carriers, our two main carriers are capable of shipping all over Australia.
If you wish  to organise your own freight please contact us first so we have your order processed and packed ready for your freight company to collect.

 

Australia post


Australia post is our main freight carrier for all items under 1 meter and packages that weigh less than 20kg.

TNT couriers


Items that are longer than 1 meter are sent TNT couriers and require a phone number.

Packages that are more than 20kg are sent TNT couriers and require a phone number.

While every effort is made to ensure we have all items in stock sometimes we do not.

We have our items listed on several websites and stock numbers never reflect what we actually have.
 
If you are concerned or require an item without delay feel free to check first on its availability.

The things you can do to insure you get your order on time

  • If you don't make your payment right after placing your order please let us know when and how the payment was made. 
  • Use your order number or name for the direct deposit description when making a payment to our bank account.
  • Check the postal details entered at checkout are accurate and if you make an error contact us as soon as you can.
  • If you are using an Australian post money order or cheque to pay please attach a note letting us know the order number and persons name that the order was placed under.
  • If in doubt ask first we are more than happy to help you out with any questions or difficulties you have in placing an order.
